About Mark J. Alaimo, CPA/PFS, CFP®, AEP®
Mark J. Alaimo, CPA/PFS, CFP®, AEP®, is Shareholder of LCW Certified Public Accountants. He is passionate about empowering business owners and individuals to achieve their financial goals. He works with closely held businesses, private equity firms, and high net worth individuals, and his focus is on tax, financial planning, estate planning, entity selection and structure, and wealth management.
Some of the recent projects Mark has completed for clients include advocating for clients with their bankers, designing estate plans to accomplish legacy objectives, financial planning and investment analysis, reviewing and amending tax filings for missed opportunities and savings, and establishing the optimal entity structure for entrepreneurs.
Prior to working with LCW beginning in 2019, Mark has 15 years of experience working in investment, wealth management practices serving clients with an asset base of up to $400 million. Mark has earned the Personal Financial Specialist designation from the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), is a Certified Financial Planner, and earned the Accredited Estate Planner designation from the National Association of Estate Planners and Councils. He is a member of the AICPA, Boston Estate Planning Council, Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants, Merrimack Valley Chamber of Commerce, Essex County Community Foundation Professional Advisors Committee, and USA 500 Clubs. Mark is also a board member of The Professional Center for Child Development, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing children with a solid foundation for life-long learning.
Mark earned a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy with a Minor in Law, a Master of Science in Financial Planning, and a Graduate Certificate in Taxation from Bentley University. When he is not working, he enjoys golf, participating in nonprofits, and his family’s activities.
