Catherine L. Gable, EA
Catherine (Cathy) L Gable, EA, is a Manager and has been with LCW since 1988. She enjoys preparing management reports for clients as well as year-end activities and tax preparation for clients. Cathy works primarily with companies in construction, manufacturing, and communications.
Cathy received an Associate Degree in Business Management from Northern Essex Community College, attended the Accounting Certificate Program at Merrimack College, and participated in the H & R Block Tax School. Cathy attends the yearly UMass Tax School Seminar to keep informed with the latest IRS/MA DOR tax updates.
In her spare time, Cathy plays handbells, teaches Sunday School, volunteers with the Festival of Trees, and enjoys doing crafts. She also serves as Treasurer of the First Church Congregational in Methuen, MA.
Brenda J. Soucy, EA
Brenda J. Soucy, EA, is a Manager and has been with LCW since 1991. She serves clients in real estate, wholesale, transportation, manufacturing, and nonprofit. She enjoys using her analytical skills and tax knowledge to collaborate with clients and help them build, grow, and succeed in business.
Brenda earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Management and a Certificate in Accounting from Merrimack College. She is also a QuickBooks ProAdvisor. She is a member of the National Society of Enrolled Agents, the Andovers Chapter of the Women’s Business League, and the New Hampshire Society of CPA’s. She is Treasurer of the Stonecleave Village Condo Association.
When Brenda is not working, she enjoys time with family, outdoor activities, and crafting.
Shannon B. Lee, CPA
Shannon B. Lee, CPA, joined the LCW team as a Manager in 2020 and leads the audit and attestation group at LCW. Her favorite part of the job is being able to utilize her past experiences and knowledge to help the company build and establish an audit and attest practice from the ground up. Shannon takes pride in helping clients gain confidence and credibility in their finances, and finds it rewarding when she is able to help their businesses grow and succeed.
Shannon earned her Bachelor of Science in Accounting, magna cum laude, from the Commonwealth College at the University of Massachusetts – Amherst. She is a Certified Public Accountant in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Prior to joining LCW, she worked at Philips Healthcare in their Financial Planning and Analysis department and at PwC in their audit and assurance practice. While at PwC, her clients consisted of several large fortune 500 clients in the financial services and technology industries.
When she’s not busy working, Shannon enjoys spending time with her husband, children and dog. She is also a self-taught photographer and enjoys capturing life’s important moments.
Shaun P. O’ Rorke, EA
Shaun P. O’ Rorke, EA, is a Manager at LCW since 2020 and works on tax returns for organizations. He thoroughly enjoys the technical research required for his role, including reading, implementing, and educating clients on tax law. The most rewarding part of his job is meeting new people and building long lasting relationships with clients.
Shaun’s general duties include the preparation and review of entity tax returns. He advises clients on entity setup, tax planning, and overall tax strategies. Prior to joining LCW, he spent 15 years working in public accounting. He is an Enrolled Agent with the IRS and holds a Master’s degree in Accounting from Merrimack College at the Girard School of Business.
In his spare time after work, you can find Shaun training for his latest marathon, skiing, riding bikes with his family, plotting his next trip to Disney, or volunteering at his church. Shaun also volunteers at the Rotary Club and at the YMCA, where he coaches basketball.
Maria Bisono, EA
Maria (Pily) Bisono, EA, is Supervisor and has been with LCW since 2012 and is responsible for working with clients to set up their accounting software and systems and to perform accounting and tax services. She enjoys helping the clients feel more organized financially from entity structure to financial reporting to tax returns.
Pily is a member of the QuickBooks ProAdvisor program and is associated with the Massachusetts Association of Accountants and the New Hampshire Society of CPAs. She received her Bachelor of Science degree from the Pontifical Catholic University Madre y Maestra and a Master of Accounting and Financial Management from Keller School of Management.
When Pily is not working, she enjoys spending time with her family and church community, and doing arts and crafts.
Wendy Huggins, EA
Wendy Huggins, EA, Supervisor, has been with LCW since 2001 Her client work includes tax return preparation, filing, and planning for corporate, partnership, and LLCs in the real estate, manufacturing, wholesale, and service industries. She enjoys the relationships she has developed with clients over the years, helping them with their accounting and planning for future events.
Wendy is a member of the Massachusetts Society of Enrolled Agents and the New Hampshire Society of CPAs. She attended Merrimack College. When she is not working, you might find her in a spinning class, walking her Golden Retriever, or spending a summer day in Cape Cod with her family.
Milton Vargas is Supervisor at LCW and has been with the firm since 2005 and specializes in tax return preparation, filing, and planning. His industry experience includes restaurants, grocery stores, real estate, wholesale, and auto.
Milton earned an Associates Degree from Bronx Community College and a Bachelor of Science in Business with a minor in Accounting from Herbert Lehman College. He lived in the Dominican Republic and New York before moving to Massachusetts. When he is not working, he enjoys soccer, watching NBA games, playing poker with friends, and watching The 100.
Jody L. Gaumond, EA
Jody L. Gaumond, EA, is a Senior Associate at LCW and has been with the company since 2000. She enjoys working in an environment that is constantly changing and where there is always something new to learn – tax laws, new industries, and new clients. For her, it’s rewarding to work with people who challenge and motivate her to grow. Her responsibilities include accounting, payroll and tax preparation for service-based entities in construction, restaurants, and medical offices.
Jody is an Enrolled Agent and attended University of Lowell and Northern Essex Community College. When she is not working, she enjoys crossword puzzles, playing with her rescued cat, baking, and watching Princess Bride.
Eduardo A. Bisono
Eduardo Bisono has been with LCW since 2015 and loves that there is always something new to learn. He enjoys assisting clients with their accounting and tax reporting needs so they can focus on their business.
Eduardo earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business with a Small Business Management Specialization from DeVry University, an Associate’s degree in Marketing from the Pontificia Universidad Catolica Madre y Maestra, and an Accounting Certificate from Northern Essex Community College. In his spare time, he enjoys history-based dramas and documentaries, movies, music, books, and playing his guitar.
Nancy Granoff joined the LCW Certified Public Accounts team in 2020 as a Senior Associate. She enjoys working with numbers and interacting with clients. She is most passionate about helping clients, ensuring that they are fully happy and satisfied.
Nancy’s main duties include interacting with clients on a regular basis, handling payroll, bookkeeping, reporting requirements, and all other financial needs. She works with the senior accountants as needed, assisting with the accuracy and completion of tax returns.
Nancy holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting from Saint Leo University. She also earned a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from Boston University. When she’s not working, her interests include knitting, beadwork, sewing, painting, and cycling. She is a fan of the TV show Doctor Who, has made a quilt with her daughters, and tries to donate platelets every two weeks.
Raquel Marte, Associate, joined LCW in 2020 and is responsible for assisting clients with their accounts payable and bookkeeping. She especially enjoys helping clients balance their accounts and loves that her responsibilities keep her both challenged and interested.
Raquel earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the Universidad Tecnológica de Santiago in the Dominican Republic. When she’s not busy with work, she enjoys giving back to the local community as a volunteer. She has volunteered for Lawrence Community Works and for the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program. She also loves to garden and create various crafts.
Patrick O’ Conner joined the LCW Certified Public Accountants team in December 2020. An Associate for the company, he enjoys working with great coworkers that he learns from daily and being in an environment where there is always room to grow and increase his knowledge. He is most passionate about being able to meet with clients and help them better and fully understand their financial and tax situation.
Patrick’s general duties include bookkeeping, tax return preparation, and all things filing and planning. He earned both his Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting degree and his Master of Science in Accounting degree from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.
When he’s not working, Patrick enjoys spending time with his golden doodle, Ziva. In college, he played rugby and lacrosse and is currently looking for a local lacrosse team to join. He is a Bruins fan, likes to spend time with his family, and enjoys reading—especially Tolkien. He loves The Lord of the Rings film trilogy and has family in Ireland, which he has visited more than 20 times.
Jessica McLellan, Firm Administrator, has been with LCW since 2017 and performs the billing for the firm as well as assisting clients with their questions and needs. Jessica is the “jack of all trades” at LCW CPA’s; she liases with our maintenance folks, IT team, and software providers, just to name a few.
Jessica earned a degree in Hospitality Management from Middlesex Community College. Prior to working for LCW CPA’s, Jessica ran her own family daycare. She is the past president of the PTO at her children’s school. When she is not working, she enjoys time with friends and family, her yearly vacations, and refinishing furniture.
Priscilla McLellan may be the first voice you hear when you call LCW. She is the Administrative Assistant and Receptionist and she has been with the company since 2003. She enjoys assisting clients, setting up appointments, and working on a variety of administrative duties that this job brings. She is also a Notary.
Priscilla has completed business classes in college. In her spare time, she likes watching NCIS and CSI, shopping, travelling, and reading. She has six wonderful grandchildren to brag about and enjoy spending time with. She also helps out at church suppers and serves on various committees.
Angela Genna, Administrative Assistant, joined LCW in 2019, and performs general administrative duties such as filing, accounts receivable duties, assisting clients, and answering the phones. She loves working with great co-workers and helping clients with questions they have.
Angela earned an Associate’s Degree in Accounting and Business Management from Northern Essex Community College and attended classes at Southern New Hampshire University in Manchester. When she is not working, she enjoys cooking and baking Italian food and watching A Million Little Things.
